Aamir Khan's 'PK' the first Bollywood film to use Rentrak to monitor film's box office collections

Aamir Khan is known to be an actor with difference. From his films to his promotional strategies, Aamir always does things in a unique fashion. similarly, at a time when actors have been allegedly accused of fudging box office numbers time and again, Aamir has decided to bring in a welcome change with his upcoming release PK.

Being the first Bollywood film to use Rentrak to monitor box office collections, Aamir has taken the first initiative to bring in a paradigm shift from the usual norms followed in Bollywood. In a rat race, it seems many Bollywood actors and producers decided to fudge figures. Ajay Devgn and Aamir Khan openly voiced out their opinions on the same.

In an interview with dna, Aamir had clearly enforced the idea of Rentrak to be brought in to bring more accuracy when it comes to box office figures. And now that producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra has already announced that Rentrak will indeed track PK's box office collections, Aamir surely deserves an applause!
