Aamir Khan's PK was expected to open huge at the box office but with Rs 26 crores coming on its opening day, fans were a tad little disappointed as well. More so, because PK was expected to bring in a box office tsunami, gate-crashing into all records. But it did not happen, till Sunday!

After earning around Rs 55 crore in the first two days, PK was expected to bring in a huge Sunday footfall. Aamir Khan, staying true to his previous records, finally brought in around Rs 37 crore on its Sunday.

With that, the total collections of the Aamir Khan-Anushka Sharma starrer has spiked right up to Rs 92.50 crores in three days, which is outstanding. Although it fell short of Aamir's own records with Dhoom 3 and Shah Rukh Khan's Happy New Year, the third day collections are the highest for any Bollywood film on a Sunday.

And with Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir Khan having a strong hold on the audiences, a decently steady pace is expected at the box office in the weekdays.
