A source tells us, “The actor was supposed to begin shooting for Dangal on September 1 but there was further delay in plans and it was decided that they will start towards the end of September. Finally, it was Aamir who called the shots and decided that he will start it this Monday itself.”

Aamir is now camping in Ludhiana where he will be filming the second half of the film first, where he plays a 50 year old father of two wrestler girls. He took to Twitter to announce the film’s first day of shoot. Hw tweeted on Sunday.

And now, the actor has already started filming day one of the shoot. Aamir’s Dangal will be loosely based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Phogat and will release around Christmas next year.
