On Sunday, 26th June, 2011, Maamujaan has planned a roadblock promotion for bhanja Imran’s Delhi Belly on India’s leading Bollywood channel ETC.

In a first of its kind initiative, this Sunday will see India’s first Bollywood channel ETC promoting only one movie —- Delhi Belly!

“The roadblock on ETC is an initiative to push the envelope on the Delhi Belly marketing campaign,” explained Shikha Kapur, Sr. Vice President, Marketing, UTV Motion Pictures.

“I’ve always maintained that Aamir Khan is not just an actor. He’s an institution in himself and his latest marketing strategy proves just that. In one move Aamir has generated an interest that is bound to draw viewers to his film,” enthused Komal Nahta, Bollywood trade analyst.

“As a channel we’ve always supported innovation. Hence, when Direct Access and UTV Motion Pictures approached us with this unique marketing initiative, we deemed it right to support it.  It is for the first time that any channel in India will be initiating a promotional campaign of this magnum,” said Anurag Bedi, Business Head, ETC.
