A special Christmas for Sarah Jane Dias

For former Miss India Sarah Jane Dias this Christmas has been extremely special.

Dias, who was born and brought up in the Middle-east, ushered in the festivities with her parents, who have come down to Mumbai to be with her. “I celebrated Christmas with my parents after five years. They flew down to spend time with me and we got together to spend some family time,” she reveals. The otherwise health conscious actor also binges and goes out of her way to satisfy her tastebuds on this special occasion. “Christmas is the time to indulge and I make sure I do it right. My mom cooked delicious roasted chicken and I stuffed myself with cup cakes. I love the entire month of December. It’s that time of the year when you should go all out and indulge.”

Dias began the celebrations on a religious note by attending midnight mass. “I attended the midnight mass on Christmas Eve, like  every year. It was also a close friend’s birthday so we just headed to his place after the mass. It was all about good conversations and good food. We keep the music slow,” she says.

Any new year resolutions? “I make resolutions each year but this time I am resolving to go a little easy on myself. I have been working round the clock for a year now so I want to have more time to spend with my family. Also I am hoping people will like my film.”

We slightly shift topics and ask her about a special somebody in her life? “I am dating someone but I don’t know if this is going to translate into anything more. My schedules are crazy and there is never any predictability with romance, so frankly I don’t know,” she trails off.
