A cinematic treat!

The 14th edition of the Mumbai Film Festival (MAMI), which will run from next month, will see some of the most awaited and critically claimed movies of the year in Hollywood. While there has been a considerable buzz going around about the films that will be showcased at the festival, some of the popular titles include On The Road, Rust and Bone and Blancanieves.

While On The Road, featuring Holly hottie Kristen Stewart (also her first on-screen appearance post the alleged affair scandal), is a provocative story of a young writer whose life is shaken and ultimately redefined by the arrival of a free-spirited, fearless, fast talking Westerne. Rust and Bone — featuring actor Marion Cotillard, another talented Holly actor, who impressed in a negative role for the film The Dark Knight Rises, will give a never before seen performance in this French flick. Rust and Bone, by Jacques Audiarda is a story about Ali who is put in charge of his young son. Lastly, Blancanieves (Snow White), by Pablo Berger is a stunning gothic melodrama by the popular take by the Grimm Brothers.

Last year Mumbaikars got a treat in Oscar nominated film Moneyball, which was screened along with Michael, Melancholia, Once Upon A Town In Anatloia and George Clooney’s latest directorial venture Ides Of March, among many others.
