6 seconds! That's exactly how long Deepika Padukone's there in the 'xXx 3' trailer
While there were a lot of reports which claimed that Dippy had a prominent role in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, the trailer tells a different story altogether.
The xXx franchise has always been one of the most popular adventure series in Hollywood and they are returning with their third instalment xXx 3: The Return of Xander Cage. The first and second editions of the film focused on Vin Diesel and his escapades and third one too has the same plotline.
While there were reports that Deepika Padukone will be playing a prominent part - that of huntress Serena - in xXx 3, the trailer has a different picture for everyone to see. In the entire one and half minute trailer, Deepika appears barely for six seconds.
We're really disappointed. Right from the time, the principal shooting of the film began, everyone was excited to watch DP make her Hollywood debut. There were stories, pictures, first look images that went viral on the Internet and like others, we too were expecting a big surprise from xXx in the form of Dippy.
Now that the trailer is out, Deepika can be seen only in five shots, each for about one or two seconds each. Cumulatively, we counted Deepika is there only for 4 seconds and that's it! If this remains, we are doubtful about how lengthy her role will actually be in the film. Think, think!
