1.Jubin Nautiyal
I liked the title song of Dhadak composed by Ajay-Atul. The track is amazing and beautifully composed. It reminds me of old-school expression of love and its writing is extremely expressive, too. I am a big fan of the duo’s vision when it comes to composing music. Zingaat from the same film was another favourite this year.
2.Amaal Mallik
American artiste Lauv’s number Superhero was a beautiful thought, that showed love in its purest form. It had really good songwriting and was an honest composition. It’s got me hooked and definitely staying on my playlist.
3.Nikhita Gandhi
Halla from Manmarziyaan is one of the most hauntingly powerful songs I’ve heard this year. Every time I hear it, it puts me in an irreversible state of trance. When Jyoti Nooran’s voice enters the song, it gives me chills and reminds me of a young Abida Parveen. Hats off to Amit Trivedi!
4.Shashaa Tirupati
I really liked Tareefan (Veere Di Wedding) because it was different from the other songs that were released around the same time. It broke the clutter. Also, I am a huge admirer of Badshah, and I feel he was fantastic in the song. I would love to do a version of it some time as well.

5.Darshan Raval
I loved Akh Lad Jave from the movie LoveYatri. The best part of the song is the sound and groove Tanishk (Bagchi) has used to make a great club number. Asees Kaur’s voice made me fall in love with the track.
