OTT Releases This Week: Jewel Thief, L2 Empuraan, You Season 5; latest films, series to binge-watch on Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar

Starring Saif Ali Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Kunal Kapoor, and Nikita Dutta, the heist thriller Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins is a direct-to-digital release and will premiere on Netflix on April 25. The film is produced by Fighter, Pathaan, and War-fame Siddharth Anand under his banner Marflix and directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal.

The highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time, L2: Empuraan is headlined by Mohanlal and helmed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, who also plays a pivotal role in the action thriller. The sequel to the 2019 release Lucifer will start streaming on JioHotstar in the Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada languages from April 24.

The action thriller Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 will start streaming on Prime Video in the original Tamil language and the dubbed versions in Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi languages from April 24. The film, whose Part 1 will release later as a prequel, stars Vikram, SJ Suryah, and Dushara Vijayan in the leading roles.

Headlined by Penn Badgley as the serial killer Joe Goldberg, the American psychological thriller series You premiered in 2018. Its ffith and final season will start streaming on Netflix from April 24. The show will also feature Charlotte Ritchie, Madeline Brewer, Anna Camp, and Griffin Matthews as part of the main cast.

A part of the Star Wars franchise and a prequel to the 2016 blockbuster film Rogue One, the science fiction series Andor is created by Tony Gilroy. The first three episodes of the second and final season of the show will drop on JioHotstar on April 23 with three episodes releasing weekly until May 14.
