Khan is fluent in Persian, Azeri, Norwegian, English, and Urdu. She holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing & Advertising, along with two master's degrees in International Business and Film & Television.

Negar Khan married Sahil Khan on September 21, 2004, but they divorced in July 2005. In 2009, she began a new relationship with someone from India, although she kept it private.

Khan rose to fame when she appeared in the music video for a remix of the classic Indian Hindi movie song "Chadti Jawani Meri Chaal Mastani."

She also participated in the Norwegian version of the Paradise Hotel reality show, where she faced accusations of having undergone multiple plastic surgeries. However, she denied these claims, stating that she had not had any surgery.

In 2004, Khan was allegedly featured topless in the Norwegian men's magazine VI Menn. However, she denied the allegations, claiming that the pictures had been digitally altered.
