'How can I hide my wedding?': Anushka Shetty breaks silence on Prakash Kovelamudi, calls Prabhas '3 am friend'
During an interaction, Anushka Shetty put an end to all rumours regarding her wedding, Prabhas and also Prakash Kovelamudi.
South beauty Anushka Shetty's personal life has become a topic of discussion from a very long time. The actor has been constantly linked up with her Baahubali co-star and longtime friend Prabhas. Both have always denied the rumours. Soon after that, it was said that the talented actor is dating a cricketer and will soon be tying the knot with him. However, Anushka rubbished the rumours.
A few days back, a report made it to the Internet that Anushka is dating Judgementall Hai Kya director Prakash Kovelamudi, who directed her in Size Zero back in 2015. Now, during an interaction with Deccan Chronicle, Anushka addressed all the rumours and set the record straight.

During an interaction with Deccan Chronicle, Anushka Shetty was asked about the gossip making the rounds about her personal life. To which she stated, "I would wonder if these people who wrote about me had any sisters and children. I just come to know about it through some of my friends through forward message."
The Bhaagamathie actor also said, "That's the nature of the industry, and there’s nothing I can do about it although I cannot understand why certain things are being written about me."
Talking about her wedding rumours, Anushka shared, "My family — who had wanted to get me married ever since I was 20 — knows me for who I am, even they were never affected by my marriage rumours."
Shetty was asked about her opinion on marriage and she answered, "To me, marriage is a very sacred space. I believe in the phenomenon of two people bonding together for the rest of their lives. I believe that relationship and marriage are spaces in which people can grow the most because if you are in a relationship you are constantly staying with that partner, and the bond evolves."
She went on to say, "Let marriage happen when you meet the right person."
There were reports that Anushka is likely to tie the knot with Judgementall Hai Kya director Prakash Kovelamudi. Shutting down the reports, Anushka was quoted by IANS, "None of that news is true. I don`t get affected by such rumours. Don`t know why my wedding is such a big deal for anyone. Nobody can hide a relationship. How can I hide my wedding? It is a very sensitive matter and people should deal it with some sensitivity."
The Baahubali actor opened up about her previous relationship like never before. She stated, "I have had the most beautiful relationship in the past, around the year 2008, but I can’t tell you who the guy is because it’s something very personal. I would have revealed his identity had we still been together."
Anushka concluded by saying, "It was a choice we made, but for me, it remains a very respectable relationship. But the day I get married, it will be an open thing."
Sweety concluded by calling Prabhas as one of her close friends. Anushka said, "I have known Prabhas for over 15 years now and he is one of my 3 AM friends. We are usually linked up because both of us are not married and make an amazing on-screen pair. Had there been anything between both of us, it would have been out by this time. Both of us are the same kind of people who don’t hide any emotions if we are involved."
