Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor: Bollywood beauties who've been MIA for far too long

Kriti Kharbanda, known for her roles in Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana and Pagalpanti, has been off the big screen since her last theatrical release 14 Phere in 2021. While active on social media and recently married to Pulkit Samrat, Kriti hasn’t signed any new film projects lately.

Tara Sutaria, who started with Student of the Year 2, was last seen in Tadap and Ek Villain Returns in 2022. Despite her talent and stunning screen presence, she hasn’t had a release since and has no confirmed upcoming theatrical films.

Athiya Shetty, daughter of Suniel Shetty, hasn’t appeared in a Bollywood film since Motichoor Chaknachoor (2019). After marrying cricketer KL Rahul in 2023, she’s largely stayed out of the limelight, with no confirmed film projects in the pipeline.

Anushka Sharma’s last release was Zero (2018), though she shot for Chakda ‘Xpress which is still awaiting release. Focused on motherhood and her production house, Anushka’s return to acting has been long anticipated by her fans.

Aishwarya’s last appearance was in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan II (2023), which was a Tamil film. However, it’s been several years since she featured in a mainstream Bollywood Hindi movie. Her iconic presence is missed in the Hindi cinema space.

Sonam Kapoor made a brief appearance in Blind (2023), which had a very limited OTT release and failed to create a buzz. Since her 2019 film The Zoya Factor, she has not been seen in a notable theatrical Bollywood project.

Rani Mukerji, known for her powerful performances, was last seen in Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway (2023). Although the film was critically appreciated, she has not announced any upcoming projects, keeping fans eager for her next move.
