Debutant director U.R.Jameel took to his Twitter page and shared a couple of photos posing with ex-couple Hansika Motwani and Simbu aka STR on the sets of 'Maha'.
Silambarasan aka Simbu aka STR is all set to be seen opposite ex Hansika Motwani as an extended cameo role in her 50th film, Maha. The estranged couple, who was in head over heels in love with each other and parted ways after a short relationship. There were reports that the couple was set to tie the knot but that did not witness broad daylight. Now, seems like bygones are bygones, and Hansika and Simbu are reuniting on the big screen after a few years.
Two years back, when The Times of India asked Simbu about announcing breakup with Hansika a few months after announcing the relationship, he had said, "I have always been open about my relationships. I announced it because I didn't want to live in constant fear like what if someone sees and someone comments. For the same reason, I announced the break up too. Anybody can be in a relationship, but when it comes to marriage, there are certain things that need to be considered. There are certain issues that cannot be discussed. So, we both decided not to talk openly about it."
Now, finally, the duo is back and the director of Maha, U.R.Jameel took to his Twitter page and shared a couple of photos posing with Simbu and Hansika.

Earlier, during an interaction with The Times of India, when Simbu was asked about how he coped up with a breakup with Hansika, he had said, "It is actually very tough to cope up with a break-up. There are so many of my friends who cry about their break-ups to me and I console them. When it comes to me, I should only take care of myself. During my earlier break-ups, I would be depressed and travel long distances to come out of it. Those break-ups disturbed me a lot. But after my break-up with Hansika, I was normal from day one as I had the maturity to accept it and move on."

Hansika broke the news of reuniting with Simbu on the big screen with Maha in the sweetest way. She shared a photo of two holding hands citing Simbu and hers. She tweeted the photo as, "Since the buzz is crazy and the news is leaked out way before time. Me and #STR are back in #MAHA"
