Virat and Anushka's daughter is the latest addition to the lot but is not the only star kid to have a beautiful name. Below are a few more examples of the same.

Vamika means Goddess Durga. It can also be described as the epithet of the Goddess. Interestingly, Vamika starts with Virat Kohli's letter 'V' and ends with Anushka Sharma's 'ka'.

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan named their daughter Aaradhya in 2012. It means 'to be worshipped' in Sanskrit. Aaradhya's name starts with an 'A', just like her parents and Aaradhya's superstar grandfather, Amitabh Bachchan.

Shirish Kunder and Farah Khan had named their son Czar. Czar as a boy's name is pronounced zar. It is of Russian origin, and the meaning of Czar is "Caesar, emperor".

Guy Hershberg and Kalki Koechlin had introduced their daughter on Instagram and named her Sappho, after the Greek poet. Hailed by Plato as the Tenth Muse, the seventh-century-BC lyric genius Sappho belonged to an aristocratic family who hailed from the island of Lesbos.

On December 10, 2019, Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath had embraced parenthood for the first time and welcomed daughter Anayra Sharma. Baby Anayra has officially been promoted to big sister now with the arrival of her baby brother. Kapil had revealed the meaning of his daughter's name during an interview and had said, "Anayra's meaning is happiness. She is my baby, so that's what it means. Ginni [Chatrath] and I had told our friend's circle about names, and I liked Anayra the most."

Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora had tried something different while naming their son Arhaan Khan. Instead of combining the initials of their first names, they linked their last names and hence named their son Arhaan. His name also means a ruler.

When Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan decided to name their son Taimur, they were met with a lot of controversies. Many were offended that the couple named their son after an invader, Kareena insisted on naming him Taimur. The word 'Taimur' in Arabic means Iron. Also, the 14th-century Turco-Mongol conqueror and the founder of the Timurid Empire in Persia went by the name Timur.

Sanjay Dutt and his wife Maanayata became proud parents to their twin bundle of joys in 2010. Sanjay had no qualms taking the name from the Islamic origin for their children. They picked up the names, 'Shahraan' which meant 'Royal Knight' and 'Iqra' for their daughter meaning 'to educate'.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra, after the birth of her daughter Samisha, had revealed the meaning behind her name. Shilpa had said, "'Sa' in Sanskrit is 'to have', and 'Misha' in Russian stands for 'someone like God'. You personify this name - our Goddess Laxmi, and complete our family."

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's youngest son AbRam Khan was born in 2013. Shah Rukh had earlier said that the name AbRam has its origins in Hebrew, however, he decided to give it a 'secular' spin by stylising it with a capital R for Lord Ram. "AbRam is a Jewish connotation of Hazrat Ibrahim, so I think it is a good mix. ... It sounds very nice with the name of Hindu god Ram in it," Shah Rukh had said in an interaction with the media in 2013.
