On Sunday, the Taliban entered Kabul and took control of the presidential palace. The terrorist group is now everywhere in the capital, walking the streets of Kabul. Soon after, on Monday, thousands of people desperate to flee Afghanistan thronged Kabul's airport after the Taliban seized the capital, as President Joe Biden confronted mounting criticism over the U.S. withdrawal.

Chaotic scenes at the airport and streets of Afghanistan has led one to wonder what will happen to art and cinema in the country as the Taliban is known for their hardline Islamist approach and have a history of oppressing women and imposing their own version of the Sharia law.
