At 20, Jennifer Lawrence is the second youngest actor to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Winter’s Bone. And though the X-Men star didn’t win it, she reveals that it was a truly proud moment and winning it would always be her ultimate dream. For now, however, the actor’s all geared for her upcoming action adventure The Hunger Games. In a candid interview, with DNA, the young hottie talks about her film, the hottest co-stars, her love for Indian cuisine and also shares her idea of an ideal guy:You are one of the most looked up names on a popular international film website…Well, it’s an achievement for me to be featured in the same list as great actors like Johnny Depp, George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt... It feels on top of the world.Young and famous… Are there any downfalls?Well, it’s just that you get a lot of attention from a very young age and you don’t know how to handle it at times. But apart from that, all’s good. This is what I always wanted. So I’m content. How do you handle the pressures in terms of relationships?I like keeping my relationships and personal matters private to whatever extent I can. I really believe that I should be famous for my work. What do you think is sexy about you?Maybe my charm and personality!Any co-star you find incredibly hot?It has to be Bradley Cooper. We are currently filming two movies. What’s your idea of an ideal guy?I think an ideal guy would be witty, good-looking, outgoing, independent, and should be able to take care of the woman with him.Any plans to visit India?I would love to tour India as I have heard of a lot of places there. Indian food is quite famous too. I have tried the chicken biryani and it’s delicious. What attracted you to the character of Katniss Everdeen that you play in The Hunger Games? Her strength. I’m always drawn to strong characters, because I want to be like that. She’s a kind of futuristic Joan of Arc, but what I really liked is that it’s not about Katniss looking cool with a bow-and-arrow — it’s about her being heartbroken by all that she has to do.There were reports that you almost did not take up the role…I loved the story, but yes, I just didn’t know if it was worth changing my life for. I’m in a peaceful place right now. The people who used to ignore me, now they’re nice to me and kissing my ass. I wanted to make sure that when I said yes, I wouldn’t regret it. And I am glad that I agreed, otherwise I would have been a bitter actress telling my grandkids, ‘I’m the one that turned it down.’
