Birthdays are something I can't get out of. By that, I mean if someone invites me, then no matter what, I have to go.

It started with Elli's b'day bash. I put on my Tom Ford shirt and my Top Shop printed pants with my red Kurt Geiger shoes and set of to this party of 25-year-olds, with no idea what to do by myself as I didn't know anyone apart from Nikitin (Dhir), Deanne (Panday) and Daisy (Shah), but as the clock struck 12, Cinderella (that's what my friends call me ) left the party.

At midnight, my system stops working and I become a zombie, and I am scared I will eat up someone with my sarcasm. I got up late the next day and so my day went for a toss, but had to go for Kiara's (she's the Fugly girl and Being Human's new model) birthday the next day , which was in Worli.

I had to show my face, so I got there by 10.30 and guess what! I was the first to arrive, (wanted to jump off the 18th floor out of embarrassment). Anyway, the party of 20-somethings had me quite buzzing, with two new designers vying for my attention.

So, as I left from there and headed to the far suburbs for another friend, Sandeep's birthday party, I thought, "OMG, this night is never going to end, but I then had a blast with Raza, the owner of Splash, who came down from Dubai. I got back when it was daylight. and thought that was that.

But again, the next day was Salman's little sis Arpita's b'day. How could I miss it? As I entered her tastefully done apartment, there was Gucci, Prada, Victoria Beckham, Armani and tons of designer labels, on the most stunning toned bodies.

Amrita's DVF jumpsuit with Valentino shoes was a knockout. Tanya Deol looked stunning in hot shorts and a crop top while Anu Dewan was floating around in a stunning Moschino white dress. Seema Khan, Malaika and Maheep Kapoor were all dressed to kill in Seema Khan. Alvira wore a stunning Armani jumpsuit and Kaku wore a backless Victoria Beckham number.

Karan Johar wore a designer velvet jacket with most stunning Louboutin studded shoes, and Salman looked his best in Being Human (he just looks smashing in whatever he wears).

Arpita was dressed to the hilt, and wore a black lace Falguni peacock outfit (she was there too). Shraddha Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha were both in black -- one in leather, the other in lycra. Imran khan was in casuals, but all in all, the hero turned out to be Ayush (Arpita's husband). The gracious host that he was, dressed to kill in formals.

As I was about to ask him who he was wearing, the clock struck 12 and I had to leave as I was sure that with all this partying, I would definitely turn into a pumpkin. So, off I went, hoping to doze off and never wake up to another birthday invitation.
