UPSC NDA I Exam 2021 to be conducted tomorrow - Important instructions for students

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) NDA I examination 2021 will be conducted on Sunday (April 18). The exam will be held in off-line mode at various exam centres across India.

To avoid gathering of students in large numbers, the examination this time will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will start at 10 am while the second shift will start at 2 pm.

The exam will be held for a duration of five hours and will include questions of Mathematics and general Ability. The Mathematics questions will carry 300 marks while questions of General Ability will carry 600 marks. The format of the exam is objective type questions.

Important instruction for UPSC NDA candidates:

- The candidates appearing for the exam will need to carry a hard copy of the admit card. Apart from this, the candidate also needs to carry their photo identity proof.

- Appearing candidates are required to reach the exam centre an hour before the exam starts. The entry to the exam venue will be closed 10 minutes before the exam starts.

- Candidates need to use a black ball pen for writing and marking answers in the OMR sheet (answer sheet). Pens of any other colour are not allowed for the exam.

- Candidate should carry at least two photographs, incase it is not visible/ blurred or not available on the e-admit card.

- Students must strictly adhere to the COVID-19 protocols issued by the Government of India. It is mandatory for all students, invigilators and other staff to wear masks, carry sanitisers and maintain social distancing.

The UPSC NDA 2021 examination will be held by the Commission for admission to the Army, Navy and Air force wings of the NDA for the 147th course and for the 109th Indian Naval Academy commencing from January 2, 2022. This exam will fill up 400 posts in the Indian Forces.
