UP teacher recruitment 2018: 69,000 jobs for Assistant Teachers up for grabs

Uttar Pradesh Government's exam conducting body ERA has given notification for an exam to hire primary school teachers. All total, there are 69,000 vacancies across the state and the exam will be held next year. 

Exam titled Assistant Teachers Recruitment Examination-2019 will be held following controversy regarding ATRE-2018, where allegations of irregularities were levelled. The online application can be filled from Thursday onwards. According to reports, the notification was formally posted on Wednesday night. The last date for filing application form is December 20 and fees can be given till December 21. 

Candidates have been advised to be very careful while filling the form. They will not be allowed to correct it once they have submitted it. Prospective teachers also need to sign an undertaking that all information provided by them is authentic. At a later stage, if any information is found to be incorrect, that may lead to application getting cancelled. This year, there is a change in the format. Questions will be of objective nature. 

The application fees is Rs 600 for general candidates and Rs 400 for reserved candidates. Candidates have  D.El.Ed., BTC, Two Years BTC from Distance Education, D.El.Ed Special Education, Specific BTC, BTC Urdu,Degree of Four Year B.El.Ed. and those who have passed teacher's eligibility examination can apply for this post.
