Adityanath launched the website of UP Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) and said it will help the government redress problems of home buyers in a speedy manner.

The chief minister said buyers are disappointed over builders' failure to meet project deadlines.

Confidence between builders and consumers was essential for the growth of the real estate sector, he said.

"The state government is fully committed to safeguarding the interest of house buyers in the state and redressing all their problems," Adityanath said.

"There has been a lack of confidence between builders and consumers because of failure to meet project deadlines. The central government has now brought the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 ... Consumers will get their houses in time. It will also resolve issues of builders," he added.
