UGC Recruitment 2021: Bumper applications invited, get salary up to Rs 80,000 - Details inside

The University Grants Commission, New Delhi has announced applications for Academic Consultant on a contract basis. The application process will take place online, interested candidates can visit the official website at ugc.ac.in/jobs and apply for the position along with other required documents. 

The last date for submitting your application is October 31. Candidates applying for the position must have a Master's degree in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute with First Class, NET in the relevant discipline.

If the candidate is selected then they will receive a salary between Rs 70,000 to 80,000 per month. The maximum age limit for applying for this position is at 35 years. 

The probation period for this job is at least six months and can be extended on the basis of performance review. However, UGC reserves the right to terminate at any time without assigning any reason.

On the other hand, the UGC has once again changed the eligibility conditions prescribed for the recruitment of Assistant Professors in the Universities and Colleges of the country. This time the commission has relaxed the eligibility conditions which will make it easier for the eligible candidates to fill the posts of Assistant Professor.
