The SSC students appearing for their second exam on Tuesday had another cakewalk of sorts as the dreaded Mathematics paper was an easy one.

Their first paper was of Gujarati, which was an easy one too. Nishesh Patel, a student of Somlalit School said that the paper was not lengthy as it had short easy sums.

"More or less, all the questions were from textbook and none of the questions were asked convoluted, this made our jobs easy," added Nishesh.

Another student Naresh Sankhlecha of Aroma School said, "I finished my paper half an hour before the exam. All questions, including the theorems were from the textbook and in simple format. I am hoping to score full marks."

Mandal Issue:

In spite of being in news last year for mass copying which resulted in re-examination at the behest of education board, the situation in Mandal village has not changed much.

A visit by this reporter to an exam centre in the village threw up some interesting scenes. Students were found copying from books and reference material.

These were later thrown out of the window once the exam was over. What's more, they discussed answers with each other with aplomb. All this under the presence of supervisors and centre coordinator!
