IT Department Recruitment 2021: Applications open for various posts - Check salary, eligibility, other details

The Income Tax Department has invited applications for the posts of Inspector of Income Tax, Tax Assistant, and Multi-Tasking Staff in the Uttar Pradesh (East) region of the IT department. 

The IT department has invited meritorious sportspersons, who can apply for the posts via registered posts. The suitable candidates will then be scrutinised and shortlisted for further selection procedures. 

The selected candidates will then be interviewed and, if required, they may undergo a ground/proficiency test. The final candidates will be put on a probation period of two years after which their posts will become permanent. 

For Inspector of Income Tax, there are three vacancies, while for Tax Assistant, 13 posts are available. For Multi-Tasking Staff, there are 12 vacancies.

Candidates who are interested need to send their applications for the given posts to the address of Income Tax Officer (Hq)(Admn), Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, UP (East), Aaykar Bhawan, 5, Ashok Marg, Lucknow - 226001. 

The last date to submit the applications is September 30, 2021. Meanwhile, for candidates domiciled in the North Eastern States, Andaman Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, the last date is October 8, 2021.

Salary:

The pay will be given as per the 7th CPC. 

Inspector of Income Tax: Pay level-7, from Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400

Tax Assistant: Pay level-4, from Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100

Multi-Tasking Staff: Pay level-l, from Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900

Eligibility:

The age limit for Inspector of Income Tax posts should be between 18 to 30 years of age as on December 31, 2020.

For Tax Assistant and Multi-Tasking Staff, the age limit is a18 to 27 years of age as on December 31, 2020.
