Rajasthan government declares REET 2021 as essential service

In Jaipur alone, at least 2.5 lakh candidates will take the examination at 592 centres

Due to the upcoming exams of the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education and the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET), the Rajasthan government has declared these as essential services from September 20 to September 30 to conduct examinations without any disturbance. 

As per the official statement issued by the Home Department, the approval for this came on Monday (September 20) from Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. 

REET will take place on September 26 that is looking to fill in over 31,000 posts of teachers in the state and candidates in lakhs will appear for the exam. The REET examination will take place after almost three years in the state. The government has arranged 4,153 examination centres set up at 200 places. In Jaipur alone, at least 2.5 lakh candidates will take the examination at 592 centres.

As per reports, more than 11 lakhs people are going to appear in the examination. Candidates can download the admit card by visiting the official website.  More than four thousand centres have been set up for the REET 2021 examination and Rajasthan's Education Minister, Govind Singh Dotasra also stated on September 15 that the REET Exam 2021 will be conducted on the predetermined schedule on 26 September only.
