The Rajasthan government has launched rural development initiative project of SP Labs India, which is likely to benefit 60,000 people of 30 villages in Bharatpur.

The project will work for the development of quality education, skill development, safe drinking water and toilet construction works.

Kunji Lal Meena, commissioner industries and CSR, on this occasion said that currently 422 projects are running in state with the support of 103 companies under corporate social responsibility initiatives.

As many as 101 projects are working in the sectors of health, hunger and poverty alleviation.

Managing director of the SP Labs Limited Dilip Khandelwal said that CSR initiative will be carried out under the directions of HOPE Foundation and CSR department of Rajasthan government.

Under the project, 2,000 children will be provided quality education, 2,600 youths will be imparted skilled and toilets will be constructed for 1,700 citizens.

He added that a community centres in 33 gram panchayats with Wi-Fi facility and laptops will established.

Trainers will provide computer literacy and will inform about digital services of the government.

The CSR services will be expanded in 100 villages in next 3 to 5 years, he added.
