In good news for those who want to make their career in the banking sector, the Punjab National Bank (PNB) is inviting applications for recruitment as Manager-Security in its officer cadre. The candidates can apply for this post on the official website of the bank and download the application form on or before February 13, 2021.
According to the circular, the PNB is seeking recruitment for a total of 100 Manager posts. The candidates need to send their application forms to the PNB office with all enclosures by February 15, 2021. It is to be noted that the candidates can only apply through the offline application mode.
As for the vacancy of 100 posts of Manager, 40 of these posts are available for the General category candidates. For the rest, 15 seats are reserved for the Scheduled Castes, eight for the Scheduled Tribes, 27 for the Other Backward Classes, and 10 for the Economically Weaker Sections.
Only those candidates who have a Bachelor's degree from any university recognised by the government of India can apply for this post. As for the experience, officers who have five years commissioned service in Army/Navy/Air Force in the grade pay of Rs 5400 of the sixth pay commission or at the matrix level of the seventh CPC can apply.
Any Gazetted police/Paramilitary/Central Police organisations officer who is not below the rank of Assistant Commandant/Deputy Superintendent of police and has a minimum of five years of service in the grade pay of Rs 5400 of the pay commission or at matrix level 10 of the seventh CPC can apply for this position.
Only candidates between the age of 21 years and 35 years can apply for the PNB Manager recruitment drive. Apart from the salary, they will be entitled to Dearness Allowance and House Rent Allowance.
