OPSC Recruitment 2021: Government job vacancies for associate professors in state universities -Details here

Odisha Public Service Commission has released a recruitment notification for 320 Assistant Professor posts. Interested candidates can apply for the posts through the official site of OPSC, opsc.gov.in. The application process will begin on July 27 and the last date is August 23, 2021. The pay scale of Cell-1 of Level 13A of the pay matrix under Odisha Revised Scales of Pay for University Teachers (UGC Scale of Pay) Rule, 2019.

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must have done Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.

The candidate must have a Master's Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).

Candidate must have an experience of a minimum of eight years in teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 75.

Selection Process: The candidate will be shortlisted in each subject as per UGC guidelines. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The list recommended by the Commission shall remain valid for a period of one year from the date of recommendation by the Commission.
