The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2021, on September 12. The results and answer key of the NEET-UG 2021 examination will also be released by NTA soon.
The tentative schedule for the NEET UG 2021 states that the answer key for the exam will be released by the third week of September and the NEET result 2021 will be released in October. It must be noted that this schedule can be changed by the NTA anytime.
Once released, candidates will be able to check their results on the official website of NTA NEET, neet.nta.nic.in. This year, nearly 16 lakh candidates appeared for the NEET UG 2021 examination, which was conducted in several centres across the country and abroad.
The expected NEET UG 2021 result and answer key dates, as per past trends are mentioned below. Candidates must note that no exact dates have been released by NTA yet.
NEET UG 2021: Tentative schedule
- NEET UG 2021 exam date- September 12, 2021
- NEET UG 2021 answer key- September 25, 2021
- NEET UG 2021 result date- October 10, 2021
Once the NEET-UG results 2021 are released, candidates will be able to download their scorecards and appear for counseling rounds. They will be able to seek admission into institutes as per the cut-off marks released by NTA for this year. There are around 55,000 seats in medical and dental colleges under the NEET examination.
NEET UG 2021: How to check results online
Step 1: Visit the official website of NEET, neet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link titled ‘NEET UG 2021 Results’.
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page.
Step 4: Enter your roll number and date of birth on the page.
Step 5: Your NEET UG 2021 result will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Download and take a printout of the result for future reference.
Candidates are advised to keep a close watch on the official website of NEET and NTA to get updates regarding the result and answer key release dates.
