NEET 2019: Application form releases on November 1 on old website; here's all you need to know

On November 1, national test agency (NTA) will release the NEET 2019 application form for the exam that will be held on May 5 2019.

Interestingly, the form will be released on the old NEET website i.e. www.cbseneet.nic.in. As CBSE is no longer conducting the exam, it was assumed that the form would be released on www.nta.nic.in, but that isn’t the case.

Meanwhile, NTA has asked people to buy the new biology book, which is an updated version of that has rid itself of the factual errors. 

This time, NEET will be held in pen and paper mode only. The exam will be conducted in 11 languages, in a single slot. Numerous states are fighting for exam to be held in its regional language. However, as per the notice so far it will be held in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu

Also, just like last year’s exam pattern, there will be 180 questions in the exam, which will be of 720 marks. These questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. All the questions will be of multiple choice and each question will carry 4 marks each. There will be negative marking of 1 mark in the exam.

All the dates for NEET have been released. Many students are of view that only the exam date has been released. However, the Agency has announced all the important dates. The registration for NEET 2019 is open from November 01 to 30. Admit card downloading will begin from April 15, 2018, and after the examination the result will be announced on June 05, 2018.
