Manabadi TS EAMCET Result 2021: What are the tie-breaking rules - know details here

The Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) 2021 will release the TS EAMCET result 2021 anytime now. Candidates can visit eamcet.tsche.ac.in to download their scorecards. The result can be checked after entering hall ticket numbers, names and mobile numbers. The Telangana TS EAMCET result 2021 will also be hosted on private portals such as Manabadi.co.in. 

To qualify for the TS EAMCET 2021, students are required to obtain a minimum score of 25 per cent. TS EAMCET is held for a total of 160 marks. The candidates can check result at eamcet.tsche.ac.in, as well as manabadi.co.in.  

However, if two students get the same marks, there will be a tie-breaker. These are the tie-breaking rules:

First, students with higher normalised marks in Mathematics in TS EAMCET 2021 have been given preference in ranking.

Then the normalised marks in Physics have been preferred.

After that, the percentage of aggregate marks in the qualifying examination (Class 12) has been given preference.

If the tie still persists, the older candidate has been given preference over the younger.

TS EAMCET 2021 for Engineering stream was held on August 4, 5 and 6, and on August 9 and 10 for Agriculture and Medical (Pharmacy) candidates.

The notification regarding the TS EAMCET counselling will be released along with, or after the result at tseamcet.nic.in. TS EAMCET counselling registrations will start on August 30 at the official website-- eamcet.tsche.ac.in. 

As per the qualifying criteria of TS EAMCET Result 2021, 75% weightage would be given to TS EAMCET 2021 exam and 25% weightage to the Class 12 marks of group subjects. The rank and merit list will be prepared on the basis of this qualifying criteria. In case, more than one students securing same rank, a tie breaking criteria would be introduced. The sequence of tie breaking criteria is - marks in TS EAMCET main papers, marks in class 12, and date of birth.
