Karnataka Board of Secondary Education (KSEEB) announced Karnataka PUC Results 2018 on Monday. Students can check their results on the official website of the board or they can approach their respective institutions on May 1.

Over 6.5 lakh students appeared for the exam conducted from March 1 to March 17. In view of Karnataka assembly elections, the results were announced earlier than usual. The overall pass percentage is 59.56%.

Dakshin Kannada, Udupi districts had the highest pass percentage, Bidar and Chikkodi were the districts with least pass percentage.

Urban students fell behind rural students who had 59.95 of pass percentage. Girls outshone boys with 67.11 of pass percentage. Boys had 52.30 of pass percentage.

The pass percentage for science stream is 67.48, for commerce is 63.64, for arts is 45.13.

Th last date for re-evaluation is May 7 and the supplementary exam will be held in June 2018. This will enable the students who would be successful in the June examination to join higher education courses in the same academic year from July itself.
