JOSAA 2nd seat allotment result to be declared at 10 PM today, here is how to check

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will release the second round seat allotment result today. The candidates can check the results of JoSAA 2nd round of counselling on the official website-josaa.nic.in.

The results will be displayed by 10 PM on October 21.

The fee payment, document upload, and submission of candidate’s response will be conducted from  October 22 till October 23.

The counselling process began from October 6.

This year due to circumstances arising from COVID-19, the minimum qualifying marks has dropped. Moreover, the date of starting of the academic sessions has not been confirmed yet.

Six rounds of seat allocation will take place, and the first one took place October 17. The last round of seat allocation will take place on November 9. 

Here are the steps to check the results of JOSAA 2nd round of seat allocation:

Step 1. Visit the official website-josaa.nic.in

Step 2. On the homepage, click on the link-'View seat allotment result-Round 2'

Step 3. Enter login credentials.

Step 4. The results will be displayed on the screen.

The JEE Mains examination was held from September 1 to 6, 2020 at 660 exam centres in 233 cities, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The Advanced exam took on September 27.

JEE Advanced is an entrance exam conducted for admissions to the prestigious 23 IIT colleges across India. The JEE Mains exams is taken to get admission into the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and some other colleges designated as "centrally funded technical institutes" (CFTIs).
