JKBOSE Class 12th Result 2020 for Kashmir division out, girls outshine boys

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Monday (March 8) announced the results for class 12 annual 2020 (Regular) Kashmir division exams.

A total of 82% of students have passed in the exams. As per Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education, out of 58,397 students who appeared in these exams, 46,987 were declared passed.

The exams were held in October and November in 2020 and due to COVID-19 pandemic, students were given some relaxations in the syllabus.

According to the board, all the top positions were bagged by girls. 23,207 students got a distinction, while 17,666 students managed first division. 

Amal Sayeed, a student of Candid Higher Secondary School Nowgam scored 500 out of 500 marks, Hafsa Malik, a student of Iqbal Memorial School also scored 500 out of 500 marks. Irhrat Muzuffar and Zainab Qadri of Srinagar scored 100 percent marks in the Science stream.

How to check JKBOSE examinations Class 12 results for Kashmir division:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Jammu and Kashmir Board of Secondary Education at jkbose.ac.in.

Step 2: Fill in your roll number and submit.

Step 3: The exam results will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4: Students can download the results and take its print out as well.

Just last week, the J&K Board had announced the results for Class 10 Kashmir division.
