Post: Chargeman, General Central Service, Group B Non-Gazetted, non-ministerial in Pay Level 6 in the pay matrix Rs 35,400 – Rs 1,12,400.

No. of posts: 9 (SC-01, ST-01, OBC-2, EWS-01 & UR-04)

Place of posting: Chennai, Tuticorin, Diglipur, Campbell Bay, Jakhau, Kolkata and Haldia.

Eligibility: A diploma in Mechanical or electrical or Marine or Electronics Engineering or Production Engineering from a recognised University/institution. Two years of experience in the field of hull repair or general engineering and/or in Electrical or Electronics trades.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years

Written test: the syllabus for the written exam consists of General knowledge, Arithmetic, General English, Mental Ability and experience related to the said post.
