JAM 2021: IISc Bangalore releases first admission list, get direct link here

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore on Wednesday released the first admission list of the Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2021 for Masters. Candidates can check the first admission list on the official JAM website - jam.iisc.ac.in or joaps.iisc.ac.in.

The JAM 2021 first admission list has been prepared by IISc Bangalore as per the order of preference given by the students in the admission form and the corresponding rank in the merit list. The first admission list of IIT JAM 2021 will contain the opening and closing rank for admission to different courses.

"First list of JAM 2021 Admissions is released. Candidates can login to JOAPS to check the status of their applications," read a portal on the website. Candidates have to use Enrolment ID/Email ID and the JOAPS password to login to the portal to check the admission list.

As per the official schedule, the second admission list will be released on July 1 and the third and final list will be released on July 16. The admissions process will close by July 20.

All the qualifying candidates of IIT JAM admission list 2021 have to lock the seats within the slated time to avoid cancellation of their request for admissions. All vacant seats in the first admission round of IIT JAM 2021 will be passed on to the second round of admission.

In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, the authorities had earlier relaxed the eligibility criteria for admission through JAM 2021.

"In view of COVID-19, eligibility requirement for admission through JAM 2021 is relaxed to PASS in the qualifying degree for all categories," an official statement said.
