Gujarat govt's Career Mitra App fails aptitude test due to technical glitches

In a setback to the Gujarat Government’s Career Mitra app, an online programme that aids students to take aptitude tests, it failed to open due to several technical glitches.

According to a report by Ahmedabad Mirror, many schools could not get the one-time password required to open the app. In case of a few others, the app kept crashing repeatedly. As a result, students were forced to return home without taking the aptitude test.

To access the test, schools have to download the app on android phones. Once registered, an OTP is sent via SMS. It has to be used to generate a password. The aptitude test is a three-day ongoing process that began on March 31 and will end on April 2.

The report added that despite the app saying that no student could download and access the app, some managed to do so.

Registration will be available only for the Government schools and as per the data received by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.

Please Note:

1. This app is made for the closed group only.

2. Only ONE authorised teacher from a Government School can register the school, NO STUDENT IS EXPECTED TO REGISTER.

3. Once registered, teacher have to ensure exam conduct under his/her supervision only. The same credentials can be used on many devices.

4. There is no limit on number of students tested using a mobile device.
