DRDO Recruitment 2021: Applications announced for various posts - Find out Salary, Required qualifications

Applications have been invited for the post of  Apprentice by the DRDO's Defense Geoinformatics Research Establishment (DGRE), Chandigarh. Interested candidates can apply for the post within 21 days from the date of issue of advertisement. 

The notification was issued on September 27 on their official website  http://www.drdo.gov.in.

According to the official notification, a total of 48 apprentice posts will be recruited through this process. In which, there are 28 posts of ITI Apprentice, 18 posts of Diploma Apprentice and 2 posts of Graduate Apprentice. 

Educational Qualifications: 

- Diploma Apprentice - Candidates need to have a Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Computer Science/ Electronics. 

 - ITI Apprentice - Candidates must have an ITI certificate in the relevant field. 

 - Graduate Apprentice - Candidates need to have a degree of B.Sc from Maths / Statistics / Physics. 

Selection Process: 

Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit. The administration has decided not to conduct any interviews this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Salary: 

Candidates for Graduate Apprentice will be given a stipend of Rs 9000/- per month. While candidates selected for the post of Diploma Apprentice will get a salary of Rs 8000 and for the post of ITI Apprentice, Rs 7000 per month.
