The sudden spike in coronavirus COVID-19 cases across the country has forced the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to take some tough decisions regarding CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021. The CBSE recently announced its decision to cancel the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 and postpone Class 12 exams 2021.

According to CBSE, an 'objective criterion' will be taken into consideration to announce the results of Class 10 Board Exams 2021. Though the CBSE made this announcement few days ago many students are still confused about this 'objective criterion'.

It is learnt that the CBSE has already started preparation of the result for CBSE Class 10 students and the CBSE has already sent a format to all schools.

The CBSE has sought information about student's year-long project work, assignments etc. The Board will prepare CBSE Class 10 results on the basis of this. At the same time, students are being asked by CISCE schools whether they want to take the board examination or not. Instructions have been sent to every school for this.

According to board sources, information has been sought on 15 points in the format sent to schools. Full information of the students has been included in this and the schools hav to send complete details of the students to the CBSE. Information has also been sought from appearing in the school's weekly test to appearing in the term examination.

As for Class 12 Board Exams, the CBSE is expected to announce the new dates in June after reviewing the COVID situation.
