CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 optional exams: Application process, registration, timetable - Latest updates

The application deadline for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) improvement exam is August 15 and as paer the notification released by the CBSE the students who are dissatisfied with their CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 results  can appear for the optional exams. The students can apply for the exams by visiting CBSE's official website - cbse.gov.in.

It may be recalled that CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exam results were declared on July 30 and August 3 respectively. The CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 were cancelled due to coronavirus outbreak and the CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2021 results were declared based on the performance of the students in previous years. 

The notification released by CBSE said that the optional exams will begin from August 25 and will end on September 15. Around 35 lakh students had registered for the CBSE board exams this year and it is likely that around 30% of the total registered students will appear for offline exam.

Last date of registration: August 15, 2021
The exams will start after 10 days of close of registration i.e. August 25, 2021
The last exam will be held on September 15, 2021
