CBSE Class 10, 12 Board exams 2021 date sheet release time, date, admit card, syllabus - Latest updates

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal had recently announced that CBSE Class 10, 12 Board exams 2021 will be held from May 4 till June 10 and since then lakhs of students of Class 10 and Class 12 are eagerly waiting for the release of CBSE Class 10, 12 Board exams 2021 date sheet. Pokhriyal had also announced that the results of CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams will be declared by July 15.

It is to be noted that the Union Education Minister had also announced that CBSE will soon release the date sheet for Class 10, 12 Board Exams but the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is yet to release the CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 date sheet. Sources claimed that the CBSE would release the date sheet by mid-January.

A notice on CBSE’s website said that the date sheet for CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 will be declared on bord's official website cbse.nic.in in the coming days. The CBSE has advised the students to monitor the official website and do not fall prey to rumours and fake news.

Once the CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 date sheet is released, students can check it online by following these steps:

- Visit the official website of CBSE, i.e., cbse.nic.in.

- Under the announcement section, click on the link that reads, ‘CBSE schedule for 10th and 12th’

- Click on the class 10th or class 12th link.

- A new page will appear on the screen with the PDF file.

- Save and download the date sheet for future reference.

The admit cards for CBSE regular students are provided by schools, while private students of CBSE will need to download their admit cards from the official website. This year the CBSE could make some changes due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Notably, the CBSE had reduced the syllabus for Class 10, 12 Board exams by 30 percent but on December 31 in order to help the students prepare for the exams. The reduction in the syllabus was implemented because several students demanded that it should be done as their studies were affected due to the lockdown imposed in order to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

For his part, Union Minister Pokhriyal had interacted online with students few weeks ago and had suggested them to start preparing for the CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 as the government will not cancel the exams.
