Those students who have got 'C' in their exams need not get disappointed. Let's find out what this 'C' means.
CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2021: Those students who have got 'C' in their practical exams need not get disappointed. It does not mean that you have not got good marks! Let's find out what this 'C' means.
In a recent circular addressed to the heads of all CBSE affiliated institutions, the board has stated that in case any candidate fails to appear for the CBSE board 2021 practical exams because he/she tested COVID positive or any of the close family members of the students tested COVID positive, the concerned schools will have to re-conduct the practical exams for such students in consultation with the CBSE regional office latest by June 11.
While uploading the marks, 'C' may be posted on the link of the marks for such candidates.
So, the CBSE class 10 and 12 students need not worry now as you know what 'C' in the marks signify.
Considering the coronavirus pandemic situation, the CBSE had allowed students to change centres for their practical as well as theory examinations.
The practical exams for board students started on March 1 and will conclude by June 11. The CBSE board exams will be held from May 4 to June 1.
Meanwhile, with COVID-19 cases continuing to surge across the country, parents and students, who are set to appear in class 10 and 12 board exam have taken to social media to protest against deferment of exams. Hashtags #CancelBoardExams2021 and #CancelBoards2021 began to trend on Twitter on Tuesday as many appealed to the government and educational boards to cancel the exams scheduled in May or postpone the same.
Students argued that they too are at risk of getting infected with Covid-19. However, authorities have assured they will take all precautions and follow all Covid protocols while conducting CBSE class 10, 12 exam 2021.
The board has made it clear that the examinations will be conducted from May 4, and has warned miscreants not to circulate old notices to mislead CBSE Class 10, 12 Board students. "There are some persons deliberately trying to create confusion about board exams by circulating old news of 1.4.20 regarding X and XII exams. Students should ignore this old circular of last year and not be misled," said CBSE.
