Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has set 100% as cut-off percentage for some of its undergraduate programmes out ranking the notorious cut-off list of Delhi University (DU).

According to a report in The Indian Express, students of commerce background, who have studied outside the National Capital Territory (NCT), will need 100% marks to get admission in BA (Hons) with a major in History, Psychology and Sociology. Students with the science background will need the same for BA (Hons) with a major in Sociology. The cut-off for Arts background students is set at 96% in the list released on Wednesday.

AUD is repeating its 2015 stint for the seven undergraduate courses they offer. DU's alternative is not so different after all.

Cut-offs for History and Maths have seen a jump of 6.5% and 4.5%, respectively for general category students within NCT. Similarly, the cut-offs for Sociology and Psychology have gone up by 3.5% and 0.25%.

English, however, has seen a dip in cut-offs with 92% for general category student within NCT and a drop of 1.5%  for those outside NCT.

Students who made the first cut-off list will have to finish their admission process between July 6-8. The second list will be released on July 10.
