AHSEC Assam Board class 12 result 2020: Abhinash Kalita tops Science stream with 97.2% marks, check full list here

AHSEC class 12 results: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has released the board class 12 results on today at 9 am on the official website ahsec.nic.in. 

Students who appeared in the examination can check their marks on ahsec.nic.in. 

Girls have outshined boys this year. Among arts students, the pass percentage of girls is 93.85 while for boys it was 89.55 percent.

In the commerce stream, girls had a pass percentage of 94.33 in comparison to 91.09% for the boys. 

In the science stream, girls had a pass percentage of 94.33 compared to 91.09 percent for boys

Here's the overall student pass percentage of different streams...

Science stream- 88.06%  

Vocational stream- 91.55%  

Arts stream- 78.28% 

Commerce stream- 88.18% 

This year, the examination was conducted between February 12 to March 14 and around 2.34 lakh students had appeared in the class 12 exams.

Here's the list of toppers...

Arts topper- There are two toppers of Arts stream this year. Pubali Deka of Patharighat Higher Secondary School in Darrang and Shraddha Borgohain of Ramanujan Junior College, Nagaon both secured 1st rank holders in the Arts stream.

They secured 481 marks of a total 500. 

Science topper- The first position in the Science stream was taken by Abinash Kalita of Anundoram Barooah Academy, Barpeta. He scored 486 marks out of 500.

Commerce topper- Krishna Maheswari of Salt Brook Academy, Dibrugarh secured the top position in commerce stream. He scored 471 marks of a total 500.

There was a delay in the declaration of the class 12 exam results due to the lockdown imposed on March 24.  

Steps to check the AHSEC class 12 results:

Step 1. Visit the official website-ahsec.nic.in.

Step 2. Click on the link-'Assam board class 12 results'.

Step 3. A new window will appear on the screen, enter roll number and necessary details.

Step 4. Click on submit.

Step 5. Result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 6. Download and take a printout of the result for future reference.

The results can also sbe accessed via SMS. Students are required to send SEBA20<rollnumber> to 57766.
