Hailing from Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, Garima Singh belongs to a middle-class family. In 2012, she entered the realm of administration by becoming an IPS officer.  Subsequently, she cracked UPSC CSE 2016 with an impressive AIR 55, which ultimately led her to assumed the reins of public service as an IAS officer.
