A group of doctors from NGO, Doctors for You, have set up a makeshift medical camp in Badrinath, where they reached two days ago, on Saturday. Led by Dr Ravikant Singh, members of the NGO examined more than 200 stranded persons.
Speaking to dna, Dr Singh said that most pilgrims were senior citizens hailing from Maharashtra, and the most common medical problems they suffered from were severe fatigue, hyper tension and diabetes-related problems in the absence of medicines.
