Sanjay Dutt
The actor was convicted by the apex court in March 2013 for his alleged involvement in the 1993 blast case. According to the prosecution, the actor was found in possession of AK-56 rifles with ammunition. It claimed that he had bought three of them.
Fardeen Khan
A sessions court in March 2012 had granted immunity to actor Fardeen Khan in a case of drug abuse registered against him in 2001. The actor was granted immunity as he had undergone counselling and had promised to never deal with drugs again. According to the prosecution, Khan was arrested in 2001 from Juhu on the charges of attempting to purchase small quantities of cocaine. The charges in the case were framed against him in October 2011.

Nooriya Haveliwala
Indian-born US national Nooriya Haveliwala was convicted by the sessions court in November 2012 for driving under the influence. According to the prosecution, on January 30, 2010, Haveliwala, who was driving under the influence of alcohol, lost control of her SUV at Marine Lines and rammed it into a taxi, which in turn mowed down a sub-inspector and a biker. A trial court in November 2012 held her guilty of culpable homicide and sentenced her to five years. She was also fined Rs5.23 lakh.
Alister Pereira
In January 2012, Alister Pereira was convicted for ramming his car into a group of sleeping construction workers in Carter road. According to the prosecution, in November 2006, Pereira was 21 when he lost control of his Toyota Corolla. Seven people died and eight were injured. Pereira was initially sentenced to six months imprisonment by a Mumbai court, but his sentence was enhanced to three years by the Bombay High Court after it faced criticism.
Salman Khan: Blackbuck case
Actor Salman Khan, along with Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam, were accused of poaching two blackbucks in October 1998 in Kankani village, near Jodhpur during the shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hain. The Jodhpur court recently filed the charge sheet against the four.
