According to police, they received a police control room call at around 5.56 pm informing that one person has died due to fire in the wire.
A 62-year-old man died under mysterious circumstances in West Delhi on Thursday. Police claimed that the deceased was found in charred condition inside his house.

At the spot complainant Navneet Oberoi informed that she is residing in B Block her father Joginder Pal Singh, retired as the senior technical officer from MES in 2014 is residing alone and she visits him during the day.
"At about 5.30 pm, she had gone to the general store to purchase some articles. When she arrived back she saw ground floor door closed from outside, she opened the same and went inside the house," police said. They further claimed that after some time one Guard Laxman Singh informed her that there is some fire on the roof of Second floor. She reached the spot and saw her father Joginder Pal Singh lying in charred condition. The spot has been got inspected from Crime Team and Forensic teams of FSL. Further, an enquiry is in progress.
