The incident occurred on May 28 around 10 pm when the two accused were riding towards the Khajuri Chowk on a black motorcycle with a defective number plate.
The Delhi Police have recovered one loaded country-made pistol and a stolen motorcycle with the arrest of two robbers, with previous robbery records. The accused have been identified as Rashid (28) and Ash Mohammed (19), who have 20 and 15 cases of snatching and robbery in their name, respectively.

When the police tried to stop them at a picket, pillion rider Ash Mohammed jumped off and ran away towards Khajuri Chowk, while the main rider Rashid was apprehended. The police recovered a loaded firearm from his possession and filed a case under the Arms Act was registered in the Gopalpur police station.
Both the accused work as labourers and further investigation is in progress.
