According to the police the victim alleged that she was 17-years-old hen she was brought to Delhi on the pretext of providing her employment.
An 18-year old girl alleged that she was gang-raped by three men when she was a minor in South-East Delhi's Govindpuri area. The woman had filed a zero FIR on March 29 in Jaipur after which the case was transferred to Delhi on March 31. The police arrested two of the accused men.
According to the police the victim alleged that she was 17-years-old hen she was brought to Delhi on the pretext of providing her employment. The girl told the police that she was brought to Delhi from West Bengal with the promise for giving her a job by a man identified as Ashiqui Sheikh alias Raju (24) around five months back.
Sheikh kept the woman at his residence where he along with his associates Raju Sheikh (30) and an unknown friend made sexual relationship with her without her will.
"A case under sections 376-D (gang-rape), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 342 ( Punishment for wrongful confinement) was registered. Section 6 of POCSO was also added as the girl was a minor when the incident took place," said a senior police officer.
