The Delhi Traffic Police and the Municipal Corporations of Delhi have been directed and informed to comply with the notification
The Transport Department banned the entry of heavy and medium goods vehicles in the Capital from Thursday 11pm to November 12, 11pm. The notification also stated that entry would be further banned if the air quality does not improve.

Delhi Traffic Police have made elaborate arrangements and deployed forces accordingly at border points.
There are over 30 entry and exit points out of which 18 border points receive maximum number of trucks. The borders include Anand Vihar, Badarpur, Noida, Singhu border, Tughlakabad, Faridabad, GT Karnal road, Gurugram, Kalindi Kunj. Only trucks with essential commodities such as eggs, milk, petroleum, vegetables, etc, will be allowed.
